Course Review
Since my last review, Westridge has significantly improved the conditions of their green. Although pace of play has always been a problem, I do give credit to their new greenskeeper. Hope they continue to make positive stride to make this course what it used to be..
Narrow fairways with high degree of indulating fairways. Must be straight from tee to green in order to score low here. Any errant shot will result in a lost ball. Take advantage of Par 5 by laying up for birdie, going for green in two ..... you must be dead on. Only few drivable fairways. Tee off using 3 & 5 wood on all the Par 4's. Par 5 #4 hole, long hitters beware, slope of the fairway will take your ball right into water hazard.
Nicely maintained course with tight and undulating faiways. Front 9 is much harder and greens are tougher to read. Back 9, 16 & 18, water hazard comes into play. #18 is considered as Signature Hole & beautiful view from the tee. Course better suits accurate players rather than longer players. Perhaps taking less club will improve your score here. The condition of the course is getting better, but you may be patient when you play a golf weekend.

Last weekend, I cannot believe what I saw in Hole 3 par 3.
There are 20 cars waiting in line. It is just UNBELIEABLE!!
Guess how long it take? 6 hours and 30 minutes.
I don't think the course is significantly improved.
You should review the course again.
Come on this course isn't that bad~ It's actually pretty nice in my opinion. Give it a second chance.
What the heck? What happend? Really? What's happend? Used to be such a nice course.......... sad very sad... greens fairways everything... even the service. wow not a one single smile!!!!
What the heck happend to this course. They must have fired their professional greenskeeper. What a piece of crab. Westridge used to be in an excellent condiiton when it first opened, now since the new management took over everything went south. NOT PLAYTING HERE AGAIN.
"Illine" I agree with you. Green the single most element of Golf, Westridge has one of the crappiest greens in OC. Until they adress this issue I won't be coming back.
I play here every once in a while since its establishments. I like the course layout because its pretty challenging. However, I am a person who believes the putting is most important and fun part about the whole game. Green is so poor where I felt I wasted my money here.
They sure need to improve their course maintenance.
Went on July 31st, 7am tee-off..
Run time was backed up, barely teed off at 7:30ish..
Fairways are tight, doesn't give much room for mis-shots.
Not a well-maintained course, I would give them 7 out of 10.
Think they have raised the price recently.. I'm driving out to farther east into Inland..
I played here on last year Christmas eve. It was TERRIBLE. It took me 6 hours to finish up!! They should rearrange the course or something like Los Cerranos.
I played on 6/19/10 at 7:30 am. Weirdly they let us tee off on hole 10. Straight hitters are easy to play here.
i played 4-24-2010....eaily in the morning....
greens fast.....very good conditions...
fairway....so...so....
One of my least favorite course. Tight, short, and most importantly slow~ so slow. Nice greens and fairways but this course just does not do it for me. Two thumbs down for me!
Not a bad designed course, but somewhat feeling a little too tight in fairways and overall layout. Not a hard course, but should take lots of balls in case of reckless driving and narrow fairways.
